Wessex Hydraulic Services is committed to the objective of the provision of quality and professional hydraulic services to all customers.

The company was established in 1981 and has developed over the years to offer a comprehensive range of services in the field of Hydraulic Engineering.

A major constituent of the business is emergency breakdown cover and diagnostic analysis back up. A large stock of components is readily available. Maintenance of customers' installations remains a high priority.  The portfolio also includes measurement and certification of equipment, provision and installation of power packs, pipework installations, accumulator test repair and certification (in accordance with BSEN 1969:2002 Section 10.2.2 Annex E) and specialist trouble-shooting with appropriate corrective and preventative action.

We received our ISO 9001:2000 accreditation in April 2005, and have attained successful re-accreditation annually since then.

In 2018, we achieved the ISO: 9001:2015 standard. Click here to view the certificate. To maintain our professional standards, wherever possible our suppliers are ISO 9001:2015 accredited and all suppliers conform to the British Fluid Power Distributors Association standards.

For the future, our continuing support to customers will be ensured through a dual approach. The first element is the development of future staffing policy, the objective of which is to guarantee currency of knowledge and professional skills levels throughout the hydraulic field.  The second factor is that we are committed to the continual improvement of our services through technical and management reviews of our work in association with our customers.

If you would like any further information regarding our company or about our range of products and services, please contact us at any time.
Two members of the Wessex Hydraulic Services team, Richard Hardwick and John Perkins from Woodchester and Nailsworth Support Group were specially recognised at a recent Cobalt Event for the thirty years of support they have given to the charity.

Peter Sharpe, CEO, Cobalt said 'Volunteers are vital to making their work and events a success. Richard and John have worked tirelessly and helped raise thousands of punds for the charity. They are truly inspirational. Each one of our volunteers has a story to tell, including some who have used our services. The money they raise helps fund the work Cobalt do across the country to help local people affected by cancer, dementia and other conditions'.

Events John and Richard have made happen include Arthur's Spring Stroll, a 7 mile walk named after Arthur McTiffin, a close friend of the theirs and local resident of Nailsworth. They also masterminded fundraising at the Gloucestershire Steam and Vintage Extravaganza for Cobalt. The show is one of the biggest of its kind in the country.
